LABe at the leading Foodtech innovation event Food 4 Future

From 17 to 19 May we will be at the Food 4 Future – Expo Foodtech 2022 to present some technological solutions from our Digital Transformation area.

In this second edition of the benchmark forum on innovation for the competitiveness of the food sector Food 4 Future – Expo Foodtech 2022, LABe Digital Gastronomy Lab, as an area of BCC Innovation, the first Technology Centre in gastronomy in the world managed by the Basque Culinary Center, will present some of the technological solutions that we have developed and tested in our living lab from 17 to 19 May at the BEC (Bilbao).

 

With projects from all areas of BCC Innovation, during three days, our experts from the innovation and experimentation laboratory of new technologies to boost the digital transformation of gastronomy will showcase the following projects to industry professionals:

 

  • EyeTracker: a technology activated at LABe Restaurant‘s “Technology Table”. In this case, a tasting menu will be used to monitor the diners’ eyes.
  • Fermentabox: the first all-in-one tool for safe fermentation in hospitality establishments and at home.
  • Animal traceability: currently active in the “Technology Table”; it is part of the European Cattlechain project to bridge the digital divide between farmers and consumers and allows you to know the whole process your meat dish has gone through.
  • Report on the future of the digital restaurant: as part of the continuous scouting of technologies that we carry out in the physical space of the living lab and aims for the first time to see the “Present and Future of the Tech Restaurant”.

 

Food 4 Future World Summit is the largest European congress on Foodtech innovation and, under the slogan “The Foodtech Revolution”, will serve as a stage to learn about all the trends and technological innovations that are transforming the food sector to digitise its entire value chain, as well as to position the Spain FoodTech Nation brand internationally. A future that is increasingly automated, sustainable and healthy with a strong presence of Blockchain, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
